Firstly, my car, has just reached 160,000 miles, and it’s still going strong, hasn’t missed a beat since I got brand new in 2000. A Peugeot 106 Zest 3 Diesel (1.5D), sadly they don’t make them anymore, but I can vouch for their build quality and robustness, and general fuel efficiency. Of course, I can talk, I do 24,000 approx miles a year on a motorway, what would I know about driving? While we’re on the subject, I had to change the last remaining original tyre on the car (a rear one), a Michelin one, which has stuck with me for the whole 160,000 mile journey, it’s true! I told the guy who changed it that it had done 160,000 miles, I don’t think he believed me…
